Rated v out of v past Beachbumgardener from Works corking! [This review was nerveless equally role of a promotion.] I can't elevator heavy items, and I really dislike one thousand work, specially in the hot sun (I'd rather be at the beach), simply this trimmer speeds up the yard work. I can motility this trimmer around the k with ease. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver. The charge lasted long enough to trim the one thousand, driveway and sidewalk. It was nonetheless charged after all that, so I also used it to mow some tall patches of grass/weeds sticking upward in the middle of the yard. We do accept a small yard. I used to think, "Who has time to write these reviews?" Now I realize that other people'due south reviews helped me make up one's mind on purchases, so now I'm too writing some reviews - good karma.

Rated 5 out of five by Lisa from Does the job [This review was collected equally part of a promotion.] Weed eats well around the perimeter of the house and along driveway. Have not withal tried it on tougher jobs. The weight of the weed eater is ideal and the choice to lengthen or shorten the rod is a plus, plus no fuels to mix. On my showtime try, the cord did non break, but it did not auto lengthen either, haven't taken the time to expect at it yet. Depending upon the size of your task, you may want to buy a second battery then that you volition not wait for the battery to recharge. I happen to have 2 other black and decker tools both of which came with the same 20 volt battery as the weed eater. Therefore I did not have to wait to finish my job.

Rated 1 out of five by cindylouwho from don't waste your money [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a 62 year old woman. I practise all the edging and my married man mows the backyard. I had to finally replace an old trimmer and bought this based on reviews. When I picked it upward in the store a guy in line told me how much I would like this. I was pretty excited! Two things I practise like virtually it is it doesn't weigh much and it's cordless. I don't like the auto feed at all. It feels like I need more line to cut anything. It is not powerful. Took me forever to do my tiny yard. My pair of scissors could do a better chore. I miss my old schoolhouse trimmer. Waste of money in my opinion. I wish I could return information technology.

Rated v out of 5 by Jp from Neat tool for medium to pocket-size jobs. About this because our landscapers do not do edging around the house. We were growing a small forest effectually the driveway and front end porch. Considering of the thickness of some of the weeds it did take some endeavour the first time I used this, but with regular trimmings it is a breeze. I was hesitant to go electrical equally I have ever used gas lawn tools. It is and then convenient to non have to mix or store gas for this production, just accuse the battery and go! I was too surprised at how long the battery lasted, So far it tin can go for nearly an hour with no sign of going out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dave from Great lilliputian cord trimmer [This review was collected every bit part of a promotion.] Our lawn has almost 500 feet of trimming/edging around stone or mulch covered beds. That's what is takes to arrive look similar something the neighbors would be proud to live nest door to. This light weight, easy to handle unit makes it nearly as easy as it is going to get. I've got several other B/D 20v tool so stuffing a spare bombardment in my dorsum pocket when I commencement out isn't a problem or a bad idea since I only trim with every 2nd or third mowing. Our lawn is perennial rye (a picayune tougher than some grasses), but presents no problem. The multi position caput makes life easier and at 6'2" and 72 years old, I'm all most making life easier. Great light weight trimmer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Andy from Like shooting fish in a barrel to employ, battery not bad I got this string trimmer/ border at Lowes for $59. It came with a one.5ah 20v bombardment. I used it for nearly 30 minutes. Then plugged in my battery from my power drill and got another 20 minutes (I believe that's a 1ah bombardment) Information technology takes less than 4 hours to charge the 1.5ah battery that came with it (the drill bombardment does take longer to charge) It'southward piece of cake to use, light weight, one moving part. You lot twist the arm 180 degrees and lock it to switch it to edger mode. If you just need something to clean upward your edges and areas the backyard mower misses, this is the tool for you.

Rated two out of five by John1948 from Machine is great - batteries terrible I bought this final twelvemonth to help with volunteer work at local parks, nature preserves, etc. I am a 70 year onetime male, short and 145 pounds, and then wanted something light. The machine is cracking. Goes through vegetation similar a dream. But the batteries -- and the charging system -- are HORRIBLE! I now have 5 batteries - two of ii.0Ah and 3 of i.5Ah. They each concluding simply a short while and it takes FOREVER to charge them - basically all afternoon and evening or overnight. If I was just doing around my house, 2-3 batteries would suffice. But for anything more, the bombardment system is pure junk. (I learned from a friend that his string trimmer (fabricated by a unlike house) has batteries that recharge in half an hour. What's going on, B&D? And, why have such small capacity batteries?)

Rated five out of 5 by carsh1 from great little trimmer I dont know what these people are talking nearly when they say the battery simply final 7 mins. Maybe yous should fully charge the battery before using?? This trimmer is well worth the money. The battery last long plenty for me to finish all my trimming, including edging. Its light weight and adaptable, fifty-fifty my 10 year former kid can utilise information technology. No cords, no gas or cranking. It has enough of ability and ane spoil of string will last along time. Very Very happy with mine.
